The chase rep said they are going to talk to management to see what they can offer us. The flight combinations are not available now and the next best options are thousands more.Ĭhase was able to book us the main leg of our trip (same exact flight but without the connecting flights getting us to it) and refund us the difference in points and money (should come in two billing cycles) but we still need flights to get to the main leg of the trip which is going to cost us much more than we paid originally. We now found out from the last Chase rep that they have a separate ticketing department and while they sent us a confirmation and took our points, the ticketing department never actually confirmed and ticketed with United so United canceled our reservations. We found this odd because w got sent a confirmation from Chase rewards and an actual flight confirmation from United (we even used that confirmation number to upgrade our seats on United website). One United rep said that chase never confirmed our flight. Fast forward to today 2/5, and we waited hours to speak to several United reps and three Chase reps (one of which we were on and off of hold with for 4 hours. Since they were closed we tried calling United and they said they couldn’t find our flight. ![]() ![]() We got a notification on the 31st from the rewards center at 7 pm (after they are closed) that something changed with the flight. So we called chase rewards and used points to book a round trip flight with multiple stops on one the initial departure flight on the 23rd of January. ![]()
